NFL Season Preview: AFC EAST

AFC EAST:

Patriots (2010: 14-2) (Proj. 13-3)- They’re young, talented and have the best coach in the league. 14-2 last year, but with games against tough teams like the Eagles, Steelers, Colts and two with the Jets, I think the schedule is a bit tougher even if they’re better than last year

Jets (2010: 11-5) (Proj. 10-6)- Sanchez going into his third year needs to show that he can stay consistent. Defenders won’t drop 16 interceptions again this year. They missed out on Nnamdi, but still managed to bring back most of their key free agents. It should be another solid year with a playoff birth for the Jets

Dolphins (2010: 7-9) (Proj.8-8)- The Dolphins will probably be way worse than 8-8, but I already posted the power rankings before realizing how bad this team is. I love Brandon Marshall, but he’s useless with Chad Henne. Henne isn’t the future and the Dolphins are one of many teams who might decide to not show up at the end of the year so they can get Andrew Luck

Bills (2010: 4-12) (Proj. 4-12)-
Not only do the Bills stink, but they have the #2 hardest schedule in the entire league. Dolphins vs. Bills in week 16 could be the most interesting game of the season as they battle for who wants to win the suck race. St least Brad Smith is a good return guy. Except for the fact that returns mean nothing this year because they kick the ball into the 3rd row on every kickoff now
